Special Features:

• Vertical Fluorescence Illuminator
• One fluorescence filter cube with dichroic mirror is installed. Cube is marked “1713”. That could be looked up in Reichert manual to see what spectrum it is.  The filters appear in reasonable condition. Often filters are badly burned.
• Mercury bulb is installed. Bulb appears to be new and is not blackened.  Bulb was not tested.  A new bulb typically runs $100 plus.
• Filter sets: Blue and Neutral Density for Brightfield.
• Brightfield condenser is installed.
• Low position XY stage/slide movement works fine and is Right Hand.

Objective Lenses:

• 10x (made by Fisher, not original Reichert. This is the only part that is not Reichert)

General Features:

• Nosepiece moves up/down to focus the image.
• WF 10X Eyepieces.
• Voltage: 110V

Special Notes:

• Unit is missing the fluorescence power supply box. One photo shows the image of the cord that goes to the box.
• Unit works fine in brightfield. Unit was set up and a good image was obtained.
• Someone could buy the missing mercury power box, add a few more objectives, and get a real bargain on a high-end microscope.  Even given it’s age, the precision manufacturing of the German microscopes surpasses what the brand new made in China optics will provide.
• Power Adapter Cord. This is supplied but not shown in the images.
